Long before the international fashion industry started to think about organic silk, we already launched this project with our partners in Italy and Asia. Nowadays the demand for organic silk is significantly increasing and the fashion brands as well as the final consumers want to understand much more what organic silk exactly means.
Our ambitious goal has always been more comprehensive than organic though. From the beginning we included also premium quality, traceability and responsible sourcing in our approach. Together with our partner in China we built up a 100% organic and traceable supply chain which is unique in the world!
Furthermore we also started to integrate the recycling idea in our sustainability strategy. Today we are able to offer to our customers a 100% recycled GRS certified spun silk yarn that is made from recycled silk fabric.
All our factories a regulary audited by international certifying companies and we are constantly screening the market for new trustworthy certifications.
All our group companies are certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GRS (Global Recycled Standard).
